Software Usage Instructions

Add video files: Click the "Select MP4 Video Files" button or drag and drop files. Batch importing multiple video files is supported with no quantity limit.
Set the target resolution:
- Common presets: Directly select common specifications such as 1080P, 720P, and mobile portrait mode
- Custom: Manually enter the width and height (such as 1920x1080)
Select the scaling mode:
- Add black bars (recommended): Maintains the aspect ratio, fills the remaining area with a black background, and prevents image distortion
- Crop to fill: Maintains the aspect ratio and crops excess areas to fill the screen
- Force stretch: Ignores the aspect ratio and forces the video to the target size (may cause image distortion)
Configure output options:
- Quality settings: Choose from high, medium, or low bitrate to balance clarity and file size
- Save path: Set the location where the processed video will be saved
Start processing: Click the "Start Processing" button, and the software will automatically transcode and resize the video.
View the result: After processing is complete, you can open the output directory directly to view the video files with unified specifications.

FAQ

A: It depends on the scaling mode you choose. Selecting "Add black bars" will add black bars at the top and bottom without distorting the image; selecting "Crop to fill" will crop the left and right sides of the image; only selecting "Force stretch" will cause image distortion. It is recommended to choose "Add black bars" or "Crop to fill" based on your needs.

A: Any video transcoding may cause minor quality loss, but this tool uses a high-quality encoding engine. Selecting the "High Quality" output mode can preserve the original quality as much as possible, with differences that are almost indistinguishable to the naked eye.

A: Currently, the tool mainly supports the MP4 format, which is the most compatible online video format. If you have other formats (such as MOV or AVI), we recommend converting them to MP4 before using this tool for batch processing.

A: No internet connection is required at all. All processing runs locally to protect your privacy. Processing speed depends on your computer configuration (mainly CPU and graphics card performance) and the video resolution, but it is usually very fast.

A: The software has no limit on the number of videos. You can add dozens or even hundreds of videos at once for queued processing. The tool will automatically process them one by one in order, making it suitable for large-scale batch tasks.
