Software Usage Instructions

Select OFD files: Click the “Select OFD” area and choose the OFD files you want to convert. You can select a single file or select multiple OFD files at once for batch processing.
Check files and preview: After selecting files, the first 20 file names and sizes will be shown on the right; the preview area will load page thumbnails from the first OFD file to help you confirm the document content.
Set conversion parameters:
- Output format: Supports PNG, JPG, and WebP. Choose based on image clarity and file size.
- Render scale: The higher the scale, the clearer the image, but processing time and memory usage will also increase.
- Stitching direction: Supports vertical and horizontal stitching. Vertical is suitable for reading, while horizontal is suitable for landscape display.
- Page spacing and margins: Set the spacing between pages and the blank margins around the long image.
- Background and border: Set the page background, spacing background, page border color, border thickness, and page shadow.
- Page range: Process all pages or enter custom page numbers, such as 1,3,5-8.
Save common settings: After adjusting parameters, click “Save Settings” to keep the current configuration for the next time you open the tool.
Generate long image: Go to the “Generate Download” step and click “Generate Long Image”. The tool will render the pages according to the current parameters and complete the stitching.
Download results: After a single file is processed, you can download the image directly; after multiple files are processed, the original file names will be preserved and packaged as a ZIP for download. If result file names are duplicated, numbers will be automatically appended to distinguish them.

FAQ

A: Vertical stitching arranges pages from top to bottom, making it suitable for electronic invoices, official documents, and reading documents; horizontal stitching arranges pages from left to right, making it suitable for landscape display, comparison viewing, or some landscape-oriented materials.

A: PNG is suitable for documents with many details such as text, tables, and seals; JPG files are usually smaller and suitable for general sharing; WebP offers higher compression efficiency and is suitable when file size needs to be controlled, but some older software may not support it.

A: Choose 1.5x for normal reading and sharing; choose 2x when the text is small or you need to zoom in; choose 1x when there are many pages or your device performance is average, to reduce processing time and memory usage.

A: In “Page Range,” select “Custom Page Numbers,” then enter the page numbers. Single pages, continuous ranges, and combined formats are supported, for example: 1,3,5-8. Page numbers start from 1.

A: Batch processing will try to keep the original OFD filename and only replace it with the corresponding image extension. If multiple files generate the same output name, the tool will append a number to the filename to avoid overwriting.

A: You can lower the render scale, reduce the page range, decrease the spacing between pages, or process files in batches. The larger the long image size, the more memory is required and the longer processing will take.

A: Different OFD files may contain special fonts, complex vectors, seals, encrypted content, or non-standard resource paths. If the display is incomplete, you can first lower the scale and regenerate it. If the file contains encryption or special controls, you may need to save it as another file or convert it with a dedicated reader before processing.
