Software Usage Instructions

Select text source: After opening the tool, first choose an input method: select a TXT file, paste text directly, or load sample data to preview the result.
Add TXT files: Click the “Select TXT File” button to choose one or more TXT files, or drag files into the upload area. When selecting files in bulk, the interface displays the first 20 files, but all files will be processed during conversion.
Paste text content: If you do not need to upload files, switch to “Paste Text,” then enter or paste the content you want to generate as a Word document and set the output file name.
Set Word layout:
- Page settings: Choose A4, A5, or Letter paper size, set portrait or landscape orientation, and select standard, narrow, or wide margins.
- Text style: Set fonts such as Microsoft YaHei, SimSun, SimHei, KaiTi, and FangSong, and adjust font size, line spacing, and spacing after paragraphs.
- Output rules: Set the document title source, choosing to use the file name, a custom title, or no title.
- Processing options: Preserve original line breaks, remove extra blank lines, trim spaces at the beginning and end of lines, and optionally add statistics at the end of the document.
Save common settings: Click “Save Settings” to save the current page, font, line spacing, and output rules, and they will be applied automatically next time.
Start conversion: Go to the “Convert & Download” step, confirm the number of files to process and the layout settings, then click “Start Conversion.”
Download results: For a single file, you can download the DOCX document; after multiple files are converted, click “Download All Results ZIP” to download the compressed package. Output file names use the original TXT file names by default, and duplicate names will automatically be distinguished by adding numbers.

FAQ

A: Common encodings such as UTF-8, UTF-8 BOM, GBK, GB18030, Big5, and UTF-16 can be recognized. If the file uses an uncommon encoding, it is recommended to save it as UTF-8 with a text editor before processing.

A: Batch conversion keeps the original TXT file names by default and only changes the extension to .docx. If multiple converted files have duplicate names, the system will add a number after the file name, such as “Document(2).docx”.

A: Yes. The generated result is in DOCX format and can be opened, edited, formatted, and printed with office software such as Microsoft Word, WPS Office, and LibreOffice Writer.

A: Existing line breaks are preserved by default, and Word paragraphs are generated line by line. If you want to organize the content into a more continuous document, you can adjust options such as removing blank lines and paragraph spacing in the settings.

A: No. TXT reading, DOCX generation, and ZIP packaging are all completed locally on your current device, and file contents will not be uploaded to the server.

A: The tool has no fixed quantity limit, but processing speed and the amount it can handle are affected by your device's memory. When there are many files or a single file is large, batch conversion is recommended.

A: This is usually related to non-standard encoding in the original file, file corruption, or content that is not plain text. You can first use a text editor such as Notepad or VS Code to confirm that the original text opens normally, then save it as UTF-8 encoding and try again.
