Software Usage Instructions

Add files to process: Click the "Add Files" or "Add Folder" button and select the scanned images or entire folder you want to process. Multiple formats are supported, including JPG, PNG, BMP, TIFF, and WEBP, and you can add a large number of files in batches at once.
Select a processing preset: Choose an appropriate preset based on the document type, including Default General, Exam Paper Pure Black and White, Contract with Red Seal Preserved, Old Yellowed Paper, Light Pencil Writing, Low-Noise Archiving, and more. Parameters will be configured automatically after selection.
Select a processing mode:
- Grayscale Enhancement: Preserves grayscale levels, whitens the background, and darkens text; suitable for most documents
- Black-and-White Binarization: Outputs pure black-and-white images; suitable for printing exam papers and plain-text documents
- Color Preservation: Preserves colored content such as red seals and color annotations, while only whitening the background
Adjust enhancement parameters: Fine-tune background removal strength, black point and white point levels, contrast, sharpening, and denoising strength as needed, and enable options such as automatic deskewing, table line enhancement, and white balance.
Set output options: Choose the output format (keep original format, JPG, PNG, TIFF, BMP, WEBP), output quality, DPI, as well as the output folder and filename prefix/suffix.
Start processing: Click the "Start Processing" button, and the tool will batch-enhance all images using the configured number of threads. The progress bar and log will display the processing status in real time.
View results: After processing is complete, you can view the enhanced scanned files in the output folder. During processing, you can click "Stop" at any time to interrupt the task.

A: Grayscale Enhancement is suitable for regular documents and can preserve text gradations while whitening the background; Black-and-White Binarization is suitable for exam papers and plain-text materials, producing strictly black-and-white output for easier printing and compressed storage; Color Preservation is suitable for contracts and receipts with red seals or color annotations, preserving colored content while removing the gray background.

A: The tool uses a flat-field correction algorithm to estimate the background and then whitens it through level adjustment. It works well on gray backgrounds, yellow backgrounds, and uneven shadows produced by phone photography or scanners. If there is still noticeable residue, you can appropriately increase the background removal strength or raise the black and white point levels.

A: Select the "Contract with Red Seal Preserved" preset or Color Preservation mode, and enable the color protection option. The tool will identify and preserve highly saturated red seals and color annotations, while only whitening and enhancing the gray background.

File names and folder paths support Chinese and other Unicode characters, so you do not need to worry about garbled text or read failures.

A: Yes. After enabling the automatic deskew option, the tool will estimate small-angle document tilts and automatically rotate to correct them, which helps with slightly skewed documents photographed with a phone. To avoid incorrect rotation, only small-angle tilts will be corrected.

A: The tool uses multi-threaded streaming processing, and you can increase the number of threads in the settings to improve speed. If your device has average specifications, it is recommended to reduce the thread count appropriately, turn off high-intensity denoising options, or process files in batches to keep it running smoothly.
