Software Usage Instructions

Select a translation mode: Choose the "Single Document Translation" or "Batch Translation" tab at the top of the page.
Upload Word documents:
- Single document mode: Click "Select DOCX File" to upload one Word document
- Batch mode: Click "Select Multiple DOCX Files" to upload multiple Word documents at once
Configure API settings:
- API URL: Enter the API URL for OpenAI or a compatible interface
- API key: Enter your API key
- Model name: Select the translation model (such as gpt-3.5-turbo)
Select the target language:
- Select the target language from the drop-down menu (supports 10 major languages, including English, Chinese, Spanish, and more)
- Select "Custom Language" to enter another language
Set concurrency: Choose 1-20 concurrent tasks based on API limits and network conditions. 3-5 concurrent tasks are recommended.
Start translation: Click the "Start Translation" or "Start Batch Translation" button, and the system will automatically process the documents.
Download results:
- Single document: After translation is complete, download the translated DOCX file directly
- Batch: After all documents are translated, download the ZIP archive

Frequently Asked Questions

A: Yes. The tool fully preserves all formatting in the Word document, including font styles, paragraph formatting, table structures, images, headers and footers, and all other elements. It only translates the text content without changing any formatting.

A: Currently, Word documents in DOCX format are supported. DOCX is the standard format for Word 2007 and later. If your document is in DOC format, please save it as DOCX in Word before using this tool.

A: Concurrency affects translation speed and API call frequency. Recommendations: free API users should choose 1–3 concurrent tasks; paid API users can choose 5–10 concurrent tasks; reduce concurrency when the network is slow; for larger documents, reduce concurrency appropriately to avoid timeouts.

A: No. All document processing is completed locally on your device, and document content will not be uploaded to any server. Only the extracted text will be sent to the translation API you specify for translation, ensuring document security and privacy protection.

A: Possible causes include: incorrect API key, network connection issues, insufficient API quota, or complex document formatting. We recommend checking your API configuration, reducing concurrency and trying again, ensuring a stable network connection, or processing complex documents in sections.

A: The official OpenAI API, Azure OpenAI, and other API endpoints compatible with the OpenAI format are supported. Simply enter the correct endpoint URL in the API address field and provide the corresponding API key and model name.

A: The system will display a list of the first 20 files, and the remaining files will be processed in the background. Recommendations: Process no more than 50 files at a time; process large files in batches; make sure your device has enough memory; do not close the page during processing.
