Instructions

Software Instructions

Add video or audio files: Drag files or folders into the "Input Source" field, or click the "Browse Files" or "Browse Folder" button to select them. Separate multiple paths with an English semicolon ";". Checking "Traverse Subdirectories" will recursively scan all levels.
Set the save directory: Drag in or click "Browse" to specify the output folder. After checking "Keep Original Path Structure", the output will preserve the source directory hierarchy, and _1, _2, etc. will be automatically appended when file names conflict.
Select an adjustment mode:
- Multiplier Adjustment: Quickly increase or decrease volume by 0.0–20.0x
- dB Adjustment: Precisely increase or decrease by decibels; it is recommended not to exceed +12dB to avoid clipping
- Loudness Normalization (LUFS): Two-pass loudnorm precisely aligns to the target loudness, suitable for short videos and podcasts
- Peak Normalization: First detects the maximum peak, then accurately compensates and limits
- Mute: Sets the entire audio track to zero
Configure output parameters:
- Output format: Supports keeping the original format or exporting as mp4, mkv, mov, webm, mp3, m4a, wav, flac, aac, ogg, opus, etc.
- Audio codec and bitrate: Options include auto AAC, MP3, Opus, FLAC, etc., with adjustable bitrate from 64k to 320k
- Sample rate and channels: Keep the original parameters or convert to 16k–96k sample rate, mono, or stereo
- Audio track processing: Process all audio tracks or only the first audio track
- Additional options: Enable light noise reduction and a 5Hz high-pass filter to remove DC offset
Use preset quick settings: From the "Parameter Presets" dropdown, you can switch with one click to scenarios such as short video loudness (-16 LUFS), podcast narration (-18 LUFS), light gain (+3 dB), batch mute, audio extraction (MP3), and more, eliminating the need to configure each item individually.
Start processing: After setting the number of threads, click "Start". The task list displays queued, analyzing, processing, succeeded, or failed statuses in real time. If failures occur, click "Retry Failed" to process again, and "Export Log" to save all processing records.

FAQ

A: Use Multiplier Adjustment for quick volume increases or decreases; use dB Adjustment for precise control in decibels; if you want a batch of videos to have consistent perceived loudness, LUFS Loudness Normalization is recommended; choose Peak Normalization if you only want to control peaks without clipping; choose Mute if you need to remove the original audio. For everyday self-media content, LUFS mode is the most commonly used.

A: Common reference values are -16 to -14 LUFS for short videos and streaming platforms, -18 LUFS for podcasts and voiceovers, and -23 LUFS for broadcast TV. True Peak (TP) is generally set between -1.0 and -2.0 dBTP, providing enough clipping headroom while maintaining loudness.

A: Not by default. The tool only re-encodes the audio portion, while the video stream is passed through using direct copy (copy), so the image quality and bitrate remain unchanged. Only when the target container is incompatible with the original video codec (for example, converting H.264 to WebM) will it automatically transcode to a compatible codec.

A: No. All processing is completed locally on your device. Video and audio files are not uploaded to any server, ensuring the privacy and security of your materials and data.

A: Yes. Simply select a pure audio format such as mp3, m4a, wav, flac, aac, ogg, or opus under "Output Format". You can also directly choose "Audio Extraction (MP3)" from "Parameter Presets" to batch export audio in one click. Pure audio output will automatically keep only the first audio track.

A: Video supports common formats such as MP4, MOV, AVI, MKV, FLV, WMV, WebM, M4V, MPG, TS, 3GP, RMVB, VOB, and F4V; audio supports formats such as MP3, WAV, M4A, AAC, FLAC, OGG, Opus, WMA, AIFF, and APE. Video and audio can be processed together in the same batch of tasks.

A: Copy mode means the audio stream is copied as is without re-encoding, so filters such as volume adjustment, mute, and noise reduction will not take effect. If the tool detects that the current task needs audio processing, it will automatically switch to a compatible codec (such as AAC) to ensure the adjustments are applied properly.

A: It is recommended to set the thread count to 2–8. For mechanical hard drives, set it to 2. For SSDs and high-performance CPUs, you can increase it appropriately. Too many threads can cause disk I/O and CPU contention, which may actually slow things down. When processing large batches of media, remember to reserve enough output space.

A: Common causes include corrupted source files, a missing moov atom, insufficient permissions for the output directory, the target file being used by another program, or an incompatible codec/container combination. You can click the failed item in the task list to view the specific reason, or use "Export Log" to troubleshoot and then "Retry Failed" to process it again.
