Software Usage Instructions

Add video files: Click the "Add Video" button or drag and drop files to import the MP4 video files you need to process into the software list. Batch selection of multiple files is supported.
Prepare subtitle files:
- Automatic matching: Rename the subtitle file (.srt/.ass) to the same main file name as the video and place it in the same directory.
- Manual selection: Manually load the corresponding subtitle file for a specified video in the software.
Configure output options:
- Subtitle mode: Select "hard subtitles" (text is burned into the video, highly compatible) or "soft subtitles" (embedded in the file and can be turned on or off).
- Style settings: For hard subtitles, you can customize the font, font size, color, and position.
- Output directory: Set the save path for the merged video. By default, it is saved to the "output" subdirectory of the original folder.
Start processing: Click the "Start Merging" button, and the tool will automatically process all videos in list order.
View results: After the progress bar finishes, click "Open Output Directory" to view the video files with added subtitles.

FAQ

A: The software mainly supports video files in MP4 format. For subtitles, it fully supports standard SRT (SubRip) and ASS/SSA (Advanced SubStation Alpha) formats. It is recommended to ensure that subtitle files are encoded in UTF-8.

A: Hard subtitles permanently burn the text into the video image like a watermark and cannot be hidden, but they display properly on any device; soft subtitles are embedded in the video as a separate stream and can be shown or hidden during playback, with no loss of image quality.

A: Please use the matching file name rule. For example, if the video file is named travel_vlog.mp4, name the subtitle file travel_vlog.srt and place them in the same folder. When importing the video, the software will automatically detect and load the subtitle file with the same name.

A: If you choose "hard subtitles" mode, the software needs to re-encode the video, which consumes more CPU resources and time. If you want ultra-fast processing, we recommend choosing "soft subtitles" mode, which usually completes muxing in just a few seconds.
